Facebook is giving up its attempt to be your destination media. Just seven months after it made its debut Notify initial application, the social network has given official notification for cancellation of this application. "Thank you for using Notify", reads the statement released to users this morning. "We are spending part of the services Notify other Facebook products, and the app will not be supported." Notify launched only in November last year, and has given users access Facebook on useful information from more than 70 publishers. The application provide a brief summary of the news in real time, then gave users access to the full story, if they wanted it. The only problem is, like a lot of news services that Notify quickly lost its appeal. People stopped the downloading and completely forgot it. According to data from SensorTower, Notify managed to collect only 63,000 total downloads!
